Pre Treatment Care
- 3 days prior to your treatment it is recommended you avoid blood thinning medications such as Advil, ASA, Omegas / Fish oils, Garlic, Vitamin E.
- Please avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your treatment. This will thin your blood making you more prone to bruising.
- Please have a good breakfast or snack before your appointment.
- We recommend no air travel within 14 days of your.
- Drink lot's of water before and after to stay hydrated and prevent swelling.
Post Treatment Care
- Apply ice packs
- Apply Arnica Chapstick
- Avoid Alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid kissing for 24 hours
- Do not sweat for 24 hrs (avoid saunas, steam rooms & exercising)
- Avoid stomach sleeping
- Avoid drinking from a straw
- Avoid flying for 1 week
- Book your 2 week follow up
Contact the Office Immediately if you notice any of the following signs or symptoms:
- Drainage from your injection site
- Increased warmth at the treated area
- Fever of 101.5 or greater
- Severe pain that does not improve with pain relievers
