Learn more about Elev8 Aesthetic Medicine, our nurse-led team, and how our wellness-focused approach to medical aesthetics works. This section answers the most common questions we hear when clients read our about page for the first time.
Elev8 Aesthetic Medicine is a nurse-led medical aesthetics and wellness clinic founded on the belief that cosmetic care and overall health should work together. Reading the about elev8 aesthetics section of our site shows that the clinic was built around a custom-care philosophy rather than a one-size-fits-all treatment menu. Every client begins with a consultation where goals are discussed before any injectable, skin, or wellness plan is created. The team combines aesthetic nursing training with a broader functional-medicine mindset, so appointments often touch on hydration, skin health, and general wellbeing alongside cosmetic goals. You can review the full list of treatments on our home page to see how these services connect.
Elev8 was founded by Rinku Dhaliwal-Badial, a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of clinical and operational experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University in 2002 and later completed a Master's degree in Health Administration at the University of Toronto. Her early career focused on mental health nursing, including work with children in psychiatry, before she pursued specialized certification in aesthetic nursing through the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics. This background in the broader registered nursing profession gives her a clinical foundation that shapes how the clinic approaches every treatment plan (learn more about the profession on Wikipedia's registered nursing profession overview).
Elev8 operates clinics in Kitchener and Cambridge, Ontario, and describes itself on the about elev8 aesthetics page as serving the wider Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, and Paris area. The Kitchener location operates inside the Wilson Health Services facility, while the Cambridge clinic is a separate standalone location. Clients from both cities and the surrounding region regularly book appointments through the same online scheduling system. If you are unsure which location is closer to you, our contact page lists both addresses and phone details.
Elev8 blends cosmetic injectable services with a functional-medicine mindset, meaning treatment plans consider a client's total health rather than isolated concerns. The about elev8 aesthetics section explains that the clinic works alongside chiropractors, registered massage therapists, and naturopaths to support goals such as hair loss, weight management, or skin health more broadly. This means a Botox or PRP appointment can sometimes lead to a referral or conversation about a related wellness service. The goal, as stated on the page, is to elevate a client's natural features rather than dramatically change them.
Elev8's core services include anti-aging injectables such as Botox and Dysport, PRP hair restoration, lip fillers, microneedling, plant-based exosome treatments, and Kybella lipotropic injections. The clinic also offers a range of IV therapy formulations designed to support hydration, immunity, and energy. You can browse the full injectable lineup on the Botox treatment page, or review hydration-focused options on the IV therapy page. Pricing for each service is confirmed through the online booking platform rather than listed as a fixed rate on every page.
Functional medicine is a general healthcare approach that looks at the root causes of health concerns rather than treating symptoms in isolation, often by considering lifestyle, nutrition, and whole-body wellness. Elev8's about page describes surrounding its aesthetic team with wellness providers who share this philosophy, including naturopaths and chiropractors. This does not mean every aesthetic appointment includes a full functional-medicine assessment, but it does shape how staff discuss a client's broader goals. For questions specific to a medical condition, clients should consult a qualified independent healthcare professional, as this page provides general educational context rather than personalized medical advice.
Founder Rinku Dhaliwal-Badial holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master's in Health Administration, and a certification in Aesthetic Nursing from the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics. She has also taught nursing students at McMaster University and Conestoga College, giving her additional experience in clinical education. Details on the wider clinical team can be found on the dedicated team page, which lists individual qualifications and areas of focus. Clients who want to verify a specific provider's credentials before booking are encouraged to ask directly during their consultation.
Consultations can be booked directly through Elev8's online scheduling system, which lists both the Kitchener and Cambridge locations separately. Clients select a treatment category, choose an available time between Monday and Friday, and complete a short intake form ahead of their visit. Same-day availability varies by provider and service type, so booking a few days in advance is generally recommended. If you have questions before booking, the contact page lists phone and email options for the clinic.
According to the about elev8 aesthetics page, every client journey begins with an initial consultation where a care plan is created based on mutual discussion rather than a predetermined package. This typically includes a review of skin, hair, or wellness goals, relevant medical history, and an explanation of realistic outcomes for the treatments being considered. Providers use this appointment to recommend appropriate injectable, PRP, or IV therapy options rather than assuming a single service fits every client. No specific outcome, timeline, or result is guaranteed during this stage, since individual response to treatment varies.
The primary Elev8 clinic is located at 123 Pioneer Dr, Building J, Unit #2, Kitchener, Ontario, operating inside the Wilson Health Services facility. The second location is at 210 Pinebush Rd, Unit 6, Cambridge, Ontario. Both locations use the same booking portal, so clients can choose whichever clinic is more convenient when scheduling online. Directions and exact contact numbers for each site are listed on the clinic's contact page.
Both the Kitchener and Cambridge locations are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and closed on weekends. These hours apply to standard consultations and treatment appointments at both clinics. Because provider availability can vary within these hours, booking in advance through the online scheduler is the most reliable way to confirm a specific time slot. Holiday hours are not listed on the about page, so clients should confirm ahead of statutory holidays.
Yes, the about elev8 aesthetics page describes an extended clinic family that includes chiropractors, registered massage therapists, and naturopaths. This network is positioned as a resource for clients whose goals extend beyond cosmetic treatment, such as general wellness or recovery support. Elev8 also lists formal partnerships with organizations such as Farsk Health and Townline Dentistry. You can explore the wellness side of these partnerships on the integrative health page.
Elev8 Aesthetic Medicine Inc. is an independently owned and operated, women-owned business that identifies as LGBTQ+ friendly. Founder Rinku Dhaliwal-Badial leads the clinic's day-to-day operations alongside her clinical team. These values are reflected in the clinic's approach to client care, which emphasizes individualized treatment plans rather than a standardized experience. Clients seeking a clinic with this ownership structure can confirm current details directly with the practice.
Elev8 maintains a photo gallery showcasing real client results from Botox, filler, Dysport, and PRP treatments, alongside written client feedback. Reviewing these examples can help set realistic expectations before booking a consultation, though individual results vary based on personal anatomy and treatment history. You can browse recent examples on the treatment gallery page. No specific outcome shown in the gallery is guaranteed for future clients.
Elev8 shares treatment tips, before-and-after highlights, and clinic updates through its official Instagram and Facebook accounts. Following these channels is a useful way to see recent work from the team, learn about new service additions such as exosome treatments, and get a feel for the clinic's atmosphere before booking a first appointment. Since pricing and appointment availability change over time, social media posts are best treated as a general reference rather than a confirmed quote, and clients should always verify current details through the official booking platform or by contacting the clinic directly. Both accounts are linked from the Elev8 website's contact and about sections for easy access.
First-time visitors are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to complete any necessary intake information and discuss their goals with a provider before treatment begins. Because Elev8's approach centers on a personalized consultation, it helps to think in advance about specific concerns, whether that is skin texture, volume loss, hair thinning, or general wellness support. Clients taking blood-thinning medication, who are pregnant, or who have relevant allergies should mention this during intake, since it may affect which treatments are appropriate that day. Wearing minimal makeup to a skin or injectable appointment is often recommended, though clients should confirm any specific preparation steps directly with the clinic when booking.
The name Elev8 reflects the clinic's stated goal of elevating a client's natural features and overall wellbeing rather than dramatically altering their appearance. According to the about page, founder Rinku Dhaliwal-Badial has a personal story behind how the name was chosen, which she shares directly with clients who ask during their appointment. This detail reflects the clinic's broader emphasis on personal connection, since many small studio touches, like this story, are shared in one-on-one conversation rather than published content. Clients curious about the full story are welcome to ask their provider the next time they visit either location.
Elev8 accepts standard payment methods commonly used at medical aesthetics clinics, which are confirmed at the time of booking or during checkout through the online scheduling platform. Specific accepted payment types, deposit requirements, and any cancellation or rescheduling windows are outlined in the clinic's official policies, since these details can be updated periodically. Clients are encouraged to review the current cancellation policy before their appointment to avoid unexpected fees, particularly for injectable or PRP appointments that require provider preparation time. Questions about a specific payment method or an existing booking are best directed to the clinic directly by phone or email rather than assumed from general industry practice.
The clinic's team page profiles each provider individually, including their clinical background and treatment focus, expanding on what is summarized in the about elev8 aesthetics overview. For ongoing education and treatment tips, Elev8 also publishes articles through its blog, covering topics from injectable aftercare to skin health basics. Prospective clients who want more context before their first visit are encouraged to review both resources ahead of booking. Questions not answered on either page can be directed to the clinic through its contact details.
